Your Opportunity | Under the limited supervision of the Manager, Infrastructure, the IT Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist is responsible for the design, administration, and optimization of Okanagan College’s IT infrastructure. The IT Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist role encompasses responsibilities ranging from network design and server administration to Active Directory management, Microsoft 365 oversight, server patching, and cloud management in Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, the Specialist provides specialized technical support and guidance to Okanagan College staff on relevant issues. This position oversees the auxiliary employees and co-op students as assigned. |

Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Over 4 years and up to and including 6 years of progressive directly related experience. PREFERRED: Linux system management skills would be an asset as would wired and wireless network management skills. Proven experience in network design, server administration, Active Directory management, and Microsoft 365. |
